I could be wrong on this
But I really believe that God created us to be vegans.
There wasn’t death before the fall. Including animal death
And if you read the book of Genesis
God told Adam
“Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat”
Genesis 2:16
God didn’t say anything about meat or hunting down animals for food.
I believe God created animals to live not die and to glorify him
What do you think?

Then why did he create T Rexes and lions with sharp teeth/claws, etc.
Yup. You are right. We WERE created THAT way, and WILL be again. We are allowed to kill and eat, since the fall and there is nothing evil in doing so. AFTER the fall, death had to occur ANYWAY so our KILLING of animals just changes the timing of an animals death, not the fact of it’s death. Our killing of animals is merciful to them. ‘Natural’ death is horrible!
I believe redemption is painted within the act of hunting and killing animals for food. Animals must die in order to preserve and sustain us. But I will admit that your statement has merit. Maybe it WAS meant to be that way, but the fall of man changed the nature of our relationship to animals.
The versethat puzzles me is where after they got off the Ark God ‘gave’ them animals for food. Why?
