When someone seeks membership for this forum I (speaking for myself) I search their profile to see if they have any COG background at all, just the least will do. I am turning far more away than accepting. Also I am leary, weary of those who are seeking for appeals and spamming a service or product.
We want to keep this “open forum” focused on the COG. If we went public on membership I don’t know if we could keep the focus.
What do you think?
I administer a group called Born Again Christian Fellowship, and I have to do the same, check FB pages for any sign of Christian life. In some cases, its obvious they serve the devil, those folks are the easy rejects. Now if someone wants to become a child of God, we are glad to show them how.
You are the moderator and you have the choice. I have been members of 4 Church of God churches in my lifetime. I will be glad to list tem if need be.
