I remember at an outdoor Camp Meeting in northern Ohio, Dr. Ray H. Hughes, Sr was preaching the CoG Camp Meeting. Everything seemed wonderful to me as a young man, but evidently, Bro Hughes wanted more. That night after the service, Ray Hughes went to the Prayer Room under the large Platform and prayed the entire night through. When he left the next morning, his hair was really messed up, and his clothes looked pretty rough too. But that night, the glory of the Lord came down in such a mighty way that it remains with me even today. So I have always been a strong advocate of prayer. If a CoG, or any church really wants revival, it starts with sincere prayer. Here are a few pics where other people working with me spend the entire night in prayer, praying over special requests. We did this quite often in fact. I encourage everyone to take more time out to spend with God.
