Are you saying something like “everything is because of God” or are you trying to say something more along the lines of “Grace is irresistible, and belief is forced upon us”?

  2. Bob Jones says:

No grace is the gift of God, read your Bible, and grace comes by faith, read it, it’s there

  3. Steve Losee says:

WRONG: In Greek it’s a simple matter of the verb & noun forms of the SAME word.

  4. Randy Emmons says:

There is a distinction between believe in God, which is natural to man, and belief in Christ as Savior which is a gift of the Holy Spirit that can be rejected.

  5. Nikki Sheppick says:

“Saved by faith …. ” …. therein faith in what, but in reverently trusting what Jesus did for us, in place of us …. on the cross at Calvary. One can “believe” anything, that is, in the simple definition, to “think” something is so, whereas “faith” is wherein one is blessed to see and reverently trust in God’s Holy Way, Truth and Life Eternal, “even unto death”. Amen and Amen. To believe is our responsible. Faith is the gift of God by grace. Free will (many reject it).Ephesians 2:8-10

  7. Jeffry Diaz Abitan says:

So when the bible says believe (imperative) to be save, the bible simply says God will make you believe to be save? Man doesn’t have anything to exercise (i.e. Freewill) for him to be save? God gave His son because of His grace and mercy then he forced certain people (Elect) to believe in him regardless of their choices?

If that is the case everytime the bible says BELIEVE! it just mean don’t worry i (God) will make some of you believe and some of you i won’t.

  8. Joshua Ontiveros says:

Again I agree with you. You’re 2-0 so far!

  9. Josie Tiscareno says:

Thank God I have faith instead of panic attacks. ✨?✊?☝??✝️

  10. Aaron Vgp says:

If someone’s belief is because God makes them believe then they sin because God makes them sin.
Obviously God doesn’t make people sin so clearly your position is wrong.

  11. Carol Myers says:

    Yup

  12. Carol Myers says:

Yes faith is a gift of God however one can REFUSE the gift

  13. Emanuel Mullen says:

If you ask most people, they’ll tell you that faith and belief are the same thing. The trouble is they are “interrelated,” which makes them very close in meaning. So close, in fact that many modern Bibles translations don’t always difference clearly between the two. Faith includes our beliefs, but it is bigger than that. Faith requires action. If it doesn’t move us to do something or say something-actually take some kind of action- it’s not really faith at all. The Scripture teaches us that unless faith produces action is in fact dead, or not faith at all. Some people get confuse and get turn around on this point and try to do good things to generate faith. If our faith is real and alive it will naturally move us to do good things.
