No. There are scripture references to point that out that by God’s power & grace a true child of God can’t lose their salvation.

I disagree with the terminology “loose.” You can reject and abandon your salvation. It’s a willful act, sometimes a series of will acts. It’s not the equation of misplaced car keys.

Jesus Christ judged sin on the cross, a person who has trusted that work has the righteousness of Christ imputed to their account. God now declares you justified and sin is no longer counted against you.
Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Rom 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.I thank God that we have access to his grace that was revealed to the apostle Paul whereby we are justified by faith.

Salvation of the Lord is always available.
Like the father of the prodigal sons.
Can we choose to reject salvation by returning to the life of sin , absolutely. Scripture defends this position very well.
A person that decides to follow willfully the life of sin they learned to reject returns to death.
Romans 6:1
We have a choice to have a relationship with the Lord and receive grace unto salvation .
We also have the choice to return to sinful life.
The Lord will not be fooled by our behavior and the condition of our heart.
Come the day of his return he will know who is ready and who is not.
May the Lord guide us.
Stop thinking God is a textbook , he’s a person .
Think about how they were saved in the old testament .

The real question isn’t can you lose your salvation, but did you have salvation in the first place.
A “Christian” is not a person who has said a prayer or walked down an aisle or been raised in a Christian family. While each of these things can be a part of the Christian experience, they are not what makes a Christian. A Christian is a person who has fully trusted in Jesus Christ as the only Savior and therefore possesses the Holy Spirit (John 3:16; Acts 16:31; Ephesians 2:8–9).
The Bible also says that anyone who departs the faith is demonstrating that he was never truly a Christian (1 John 2:19). He may have been religious, he may have put on a good show, but he was never born again by the power of God. “By their fruit you will recognize them” (Matthew 7:16). The redeemed of God belong “to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God” (Romans 7:4).
Nothing can separate a child of God from the Father’s love (Romans 8:38–39). Nothing can remove a Christian from God’s hand (John 10:28–29). God guarantees eternal life and maintains the salvation He has given us. The Good Shepherd searches for the lost sheep, and, “when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home” (Luke 15:5–6). The lamb is found, and the Shepherd gladly bears the burden; our Lord takes full responsibility for bringing the lost one safely home.
Jude 24–25 further emphasizes the goodness and faithfulness of our Savior: “To Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.”

Salvation is free but not cheap. Belief, Submission, Repentance, and some mission work is all that needed for Salvation.
Romans 10:9–10

9 that iif you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
In addition, according to Matthew 7:21, “ Jesus says, “ Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father in heaven. Jesus wants His followers to understand that there is more to salvation that is eternal life than just belief or mental acceptance.

The question is are you in Christ for sure . That decides whether you would lose or not .

No. Can you become unborn? Can you be chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world and then become unchosen? I find the Bible saying to make your calling and election sure, but losing salvation I don’t find.

Good question. Let me ask you another question. If The Righteous Judge declares you innocent can He turn around and declare you guilty? The answer to this question is then no. So then like wise once the Righteous Judge declares you innocent you can not be retried. The problem is that we finite humans are declaring our own righteousness with God. We say we are saved, when we actually are not, thus receiving ourselves. The truth is once God declares you innocent, He will never declare you guilty.

Eph 2:8 tells us that we are saved by grace through faith. So grace, which is given to us for salvation, is only given to the faithful. The real question then, is can you lose faith? I think the answer to that question, is yes.

Read and meditate on Romans 9 and Ephesians 1. God redeems His beloved with an eternal salvation that can never be lost.

No. It would be possible to lose salvation if it was in your custody but it’s kept in heaven with christ, Colossians 3:1; Philippians 3:19-20. Our role is to grow in sanctification or holiness because the salvation is already secured by God in Christ. The question should be, what happens to a Christian who is not growing in sanctification?

If you could lose your salvation, then we all would have lost it already, over and over again. That’s the nature of a sinner, uncapable of realizing their sin and seeing no need to repent for it. But because we are saved through Jesus we are secure. Jesus saus no one is capable of snatching believers out of God’s hand. Peter affirms our eternal security, as does John.

Jesus Christ in His life and death is the only foundation of salvation in all of its aspects including assurance (1 Cor. 3:11). Our assurance does not rest on our own righteousness, because God justifies the ungodly, not the righteous (Rom. 4:5; 5:6-10).
What is our only hope in this life and in the life to come? Jesus Christ. What is the only basis of our hope for Heaven? Jesus Christ. Jesus and His work alone is all we need or desire. We must not look at our works or to our piety or to our persevering as the basis of our hope for Heaven.
When our piety falters and we sin, we should look to Christ for grace and forgiveness. In this life, we will always be sinners whom Jesus must save. The moment we trust in our own righteousness and when our piety becomes our security, we have fallen from grace into a works-salvation mentality (Gal. 5:4). While we will fail to live a perfect life, Jesus never failed!

The word “Eternal life” means eternal. If God gave you that gift and later on He took it away from you because you are bad. So who among us is always good until the end? Raise your hand!!
Why do we need to argue when it’s very simple and clear?
You received the gift not because you are good, so your goodness is not the key to keep the gift but God’s grace!

James 5:19 and 20 say this: My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring that person back, remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

Lose? NO. The why: It’s a gift, not a reward. Something we can not gain by our moral good deeds. That’s how and why it’s offered up to everyone who believes the gospel. So, what we could not gain by moral perfection, we can not lose by moral imperfection. This was God’s plan of salvation, may not be how we would as humans would have seen it, but it’s how God see’s it and it’s literally his way or the highway so to speak..

Absolutely. It’s one of the clearest things in Scripture; practically every book in the New Testament warns the believer (already saved) not to fall back into serious sin, lest they be “cut off” and thrown into hell (John 15, Romans 10, et al)

Well I think by saying TRUE Christian the answer will be No but we have those who will renounce their Faith or fall into Sin ,which ultimately leads to spiritual death ,then their Salvation is Lost
