I have a question. The “mark of the beast” … Is the mark an actual 666 or something else?

I’ve just recently become interested in apologetics and was wondering what kind of areas you can get into? I’m currently reading and loving the book “Cold Case Christianity” by J Warner Wallace and I’m aware he’s into explaining the Gospel through art, but that’s not really my thing.

When it comes to finding the ultimate authority for our spiritual walk as Christians, why is it ok for the body of Christ to agree to disagree? Doesn’t Jesus presuppose this issue in Matt 18, with a solution to the problem as well?
