“Anything that God has ever done, He can do now. Anything that God has done anywhere else, He can do here. Anything that God has done for anyone else, He can do for you.” A. W. Tozer “Anything that God has ever done, He can do now.” That’s correct. You serve a ‘now’ God.  God […]

Don’t forget what’s important.
It isn’t always dollar signs
and nice rides,
or even a mansion in L.A.
It isn’t a song on MTV,
your face on the TV screen,
or clothes from the most trendy place.

It’s a Saturday morning tea party
with your little girl.
A smile from your wife
when you open the door getting home from work.
It’s evenings on the porch swing
with a glass of sweet tea.
Sunday mornings in church with your family.
A phone call from Dad at just the right time.
Don’t forget what’s important.
Life, it goes by so very fast.
It’s the little things that make it worthwhile
when you’ve come to breathe your last.

Neither the Union of democratic forces nor the political […]

I don’t accept your apology.
It wasn’t at all sincere –
with a smirk, and a laugh,
and a heart cold and indifferent
to the hurt you’ve made me feel,
the pain you’ve left in my heart.

I don’t accept your apology.
And, honestly,
I think it’s time for you to leave.
Walk out into the cold rain
as it washes the grime down the city streets
outside of my apartment.
Shiver as a drop of rain drips down your back.
Hear the thunder follow a flash of lightning
as you slowly realize things will never be the same.
