This is what we use to teach our young people in the CoG instead of the present jumping, dancing, fog machines, psychedelic spot lights and foolishness that goes on in many large Pentecostal churches today. Is there any difference between Rapture and Jesus coming with the shouts of Trumpets and angels? If it so, what do you mean by Jesus’s second coming?
Throughout its history, revival was a vital part of the CoG. Evangelism had tremendous emphasis. Revivals in local churches were held often. Such a difference from today. Many CoGs no longer even have a Sunday evening evangelistic service. So how can they even have a revival today?
Here is a GA from the 1990s. I enjoyed seeing many of the older ministers who have passed to their eternal home.
