Church of God General Overseer J.H. Walker Sr. was born in Rayville LA on March 6, 1900. Seen here preaching in Jamaica, he was the youngest person ever elected as general overseer. Elected prior to term limitations, he served for 9 consecutive years (1935-1944).

Does anyone remember Rev. Ernest Moats? He was a missionary in the CoG. He preached for me several times at our local church. Here is a picture where he and I were on the local television station, sharing the wonderful things of God. Brother Moats was a wonderful friend.
