   The time to move on is when the COG changes the declaration of faith to eliminate the word “subsequent” and have sanctification simultaneous with justification and regeneration.

   Charles & I are from the old school. But THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN US IS I DO NOT RANT & RAVE ABOUT MY FRUSTRATION CONCERNING THINGS I CAN’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT ON FACEBOOK. YOU CAN’T RELIVE YOUR PAST & LIVE IN THIS PRESENT TIME. YOU CAN’T LIVE YOUR LIFE ON HAS BEEN EXPERIENCES BUT YOU CAN TRY TO LEARN FROM THEM. I’M A RETIRED ORDAINED MINISTER. PEOPLE SAY THE CHURCH HAS CHANGED. BUT THE CHURCH HAS NOT CHANGED. THE PEOPLE HAVE CHANGED. We lost A LOT of good people WITH man made ideals. I know from experience. The church that I attended turn my father & mother out of The church for visiting another church where a very dear friend of my father’s that was running a revival. My mom was brought before the Church by dear OLD saints of God cutting me some bangs when I was a child. These are not the only things happen ed in my family. But I plastered them on Facebook for the world to see. When I met my husband (he was a ORDAINED minister in the Church of God) I had issues. But the people not the Church love me; counseled with me & totally won & loved ME back to the Church. Man made ideals might have started out with good intentions but they also drove hundreds away. Why do I pick on Charles–I AM NOT!!!!! But he needs to realize that life is moving on & he is STUCK in the past. I guess he has his good points . HE IS STILL ALIVE. DONT JUDGE ME UNLESS YOU KNOW ME OR HAVE WALKED IN MY SHOES. When I was called in the ministry I was the first woman in ALABAMA to hold Christian Education & Music license. This was the era of the good old boys club. I have earned that right to try & help my peers to move on. Life is short. Leave a good legacy not of unsatisfaction but one full of love & hope. So don’t judge me. You don’t have that right. Wanda Self
