Church of God General Overseer Tim Hill, here with his wife, Paula, is celebrating his birthday today, December 9. Born in 1959 in Levelland, TX, Hill is widely known for his preaching and singing. His “He’s Still in the Fire” was Christian Voice Magazine’s Song of the Year in 1991. Prior to his election as general overseer this past July in Nashville, TN, he served as first assistant general overseer (2008-2012) and international director of World Missions (2012-2016). As general overseer, he has challenged the Church of God with the FINISH Commitment to complete Christ’s commission to take the gospel to all nations.
