   Sin is not a thing, rather it is a lack. Like darkbess is a lack.of light. God gave Adam and Eve and opportunity to show what God was worth to them. He wasn’t. Worth enough to take bis word to heart. It took away all our opportunities to mwkre the choice of loving him.

   Sin is a noun as well as a verb. To sin is the verb—he sinned against God . As a noun it is a named thing— the sin of adultery. These are just examples

   I don’t think we can say sin seized the opportunity, but the devil seized the opportunity to decieve Eve. And Eve sought to press Adam, and so they both seized the opportunity to disobey God, which is all sin.
