DISPENSATIONALISM, literally explaining the scriptures alone…I will defend as the BEST WAY as SAID BY THE BIBLE. What do you use?

I have heard from some dispensationalists that the Sermon on the Mount is not related to the Church. What do you make of this?

I wouldn’t call that dispensationalism. I only use the Bible because the Bible is the standard of truth. If someone says something is true and contradicts the Word of God, it is false. If it agrees with the Word of God, it is true. If there is a case in which is silent, I may remain silent, or agree in those things which do not contradict the Word of God, but in a way that upholds His Word as being the standard of truth. So good question.

The question is not about Dispensationalism, Reformed or any other formal systematic theology. The question is, what is “thus saith the Lord” and which systems hold to those Truths?

I promote ‘The Greatest Book of Dispensational Truth in the World’ by Charles Larkin. Larkin was a Draughtsman in the late 1800’s early 1900’s and became a Pastor. He found it difficult to get the grand themes of the Bible over to his Congregation so he put them down as pictures with a Scripture at each point. I have read the entire book and checked out the scriptures which were accurate. His only mistake was including a Chaotic earth before Genesis 1, the emphasis was Evolution at that time and that’s how he dealt with it. He saw the recreation of Israel as a People in their land when most people thought that was not possible. The book is still available new and secondhand. Below is his drawing on how different Prophets saw different events in the future.
