I stumbled across this interesting gem on YouTube, Robert Lawrence Kuhns interviewing Alvin Plantinga on the Modal Ontological Argument for Dualism.

At the end of the clip, Plantinga suggests that the argument is “terrifically strong”. This is fascinating; do other theists find this convincing? What about atheists?

Plus it shows how meanless such arguements really are for supporting the truth in Scripture.

I’ve come to find that no matter what both sides will continue to believe that their refutation or argument is terribly strong theist or atheist, they both think that way.

Theist here. I don’t find his argument convincing at face value. “It’s possible I exist without my body but impossible that my body exist without me” doesn’t stand on its own without philosophical or theological justification.
