Just bcuz u go to church, doesn’t mean ur saved!

To be saved you have to have a one-on-one personal relationship with Jesus Christ and claim him as your personal Lord and Savior who died for your sins so that you can be free.

  4. Alex VL Mamboiha Armstrong says:

You may have been baptized in the church, have been raised in the church, served in the church, you could have married in the church, dead in the church, until you have been veiled in the church and still end up in Hell. Perhaps you were only in church and not in Christ.

  5. Mark Wilson says:

    2 Timothy 4:2-4 (KJV)
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

  19. Fredrick John says:

Being in Christ and in the church are two different realities. Being spiritual and being religious are two different realities. Worship Prayer, bible reading, fasting, meditation, going to church, doing offering, etc. and practicing the commandments of Christ Jesus are two different realities. It’s not true that every church goer necessarily is a Christian, he/she can be hypocrite, terrorist, mischievous, murderer, disobedient to the parents, dishonest to the neighbours, indiscipline in life and irregular in work, etc. It’s true that Christ Jesus doesn’t like such people but still He loves them and waits for their being in Him so that they may become a Church of faithful, obedient, honest, sincere, disciplined, loyal, sacrificial, practical People.
Church labelled people will not survive and church-like and Christ-like living people will survive.
In this picture the building known and seems as the church, even being on the edge is not falling but the people going in the church are not the church that’s why they falling down to death. If the people going to church would be the church, they might not be falling as the building is standing even being at the edge.
Survival is not in the church, rather being the church.

  20. Kim Fanning says:

Sadly, our culture can be very “churched” and go through the motions. They like the idea of heaven, “fire insurance” and be a part of a happy group. That does not help yield the heart to repentance and sanctification! Many will say, “Lord, Lord..” and in response he will say, “depart from me, I never knew you”!

Church is not something you go to, church is not a building, “church/ekklesía(greek)” means a people called out, assembly. The church is the body of Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ did not die for a building, He died for people/sinners, the church is a spiritual building build on Christ as the corner stone. Church are the regenerated people, born again christians, so, attending church meetings or going to church buildings does not save you are make you a christian, God gives eternal life to the believers in the bíblical gospel of Jesus Christ and they are the church, sealeb with the Spirit(Holy Spirit) of the promise. Eph. 1:13; 2:19-22; John 3:15; 1 Cor. 12:27; 1 Peter 2:4-8; Titus 3:5.

  26. Yosif Younan says:

people in the 21st century have lost knowing God through the Bible by just going to church 1-2 hours a week. God is looking for those who are “devoted to him” (Jeremiah 30:21). it is a spiritual happening of what happened during King Josiah’s reign when the people of Israel cleaned the temple and finally found the book of the law which was in the temple the whole time! the Bible has been lost in simply going to church! there are 40k+ Christian denominations nowadays, it’s has become CHURCHianity and not CHRISTianity. the challenge is to go back to the roots, the original way of following Jesus. my friends, I study the Bible with many christians, atheists, agnostics, muslims, jews, etc to really help people get serious about their relationship with God. is there anyone here that would be interested in studying the Bible Virtually, I’m willing to bend my schedule! please, PM me.
