We may not have the evidence if you require some sort of scientific prroof.. When Jesus came to earth, they had God in the flesh and still crucified Him.
But we have a difference. Jesus offers forgiveness and salvation as a gift. It is free. We believe a good deed cannot cancell a bad act or sin. We believe we have a God that loved us enough to pay for our crime.The only evidence I believe you can get is the seek God. Ask him who is. Ask him to reveal himself, and Invite him into your life.
See him working in your life. Anwering your prayer and questions. He has not left a question unanswered as yet. Sometimes it takes time to receive my answer, but i always receive it.
Experience supernatural things he does in you life, changing you into a new person. Healing things you caould not heal yourself through medicine.
I’ve metnioned it took me 25 years to find God and know who he is.
I was very angry with him over many things that happened in my life.
I did not want no God in my life. And it did take some serious misfortunes before I searched and experienced him.
Sometimes I ask myself, why all other religions can’t see the same truth as I do. Can’t see the gift of salvation by the suffering Jesus went through for us.

Plenty. We live in a time when people prefer their opinions of scripture over the plain truth contained in scripture. These are people who are ever learning but who never come to the truth, and this is why apostasy exists and why there are so many opinions on any given subject.
If people would be like Berean Christians they would study the scriptures and believe what scripture says, not what some agent of satan or some idiot out to make a few bucks on a book has to say.

I think we can start with what we think is best and then search the scriptures diligently to find support or we can read the scriptures and allow it to radically change our sinfulness.

Let’s ask this question ? Will the scriptures given by God validate all other positions that one may conceive . Or will the script given by God validate what she say and his will is. In response to your question. No. Not every thought or position is of worth but what God says . Sometimes we waste time in the weeds when we need to abide in the prepared grounds.

just because people can make the scriptures back up their claims, does not mean the scriptures actually do. thats why its called twisting of scriptures.

You cannot “Back-Track” into Scripture. That creates a “Fortune Cookie” mentality. That is similar to the notion of never checking on your balance in your checking account. “I can’t be overdrawn! I still have checks!” lol!
We must properly, carefully, prayerfully, discern-fully, properly exegete the Holy Scriptures. It is not an art form. It takes time and careful, prayerful, study!
