ISRAEL ALLY with ISLAMIC countries BEFORE the RAPTURE

Here is described the purpose of bringing these nations to Israel, so that the heathen might know the Lord. This is a prophecy that has been proclaimed, studied, read and deciphered for thousands of years and finally it takes place. This gives such a testimony on the validity of the word of God, where millions will come to know him over such truths.

Ezekiel 38:18
And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, [that] my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy [and] in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that [are] upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that [are] with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.

This time it is not Israel that fights back and wins the victory, it is the Lord himself! Confusion sweeps through the ranks as they enter Israel’s territory. Russia, along with Iran, Libya and Turkey will invade with a massive army, described as a cloud covering the land. A great earthquake will strike the land as God’s fury is unleashed. Floods, great hailstones, fire from heaven will obliterate the attacking armies, giving no other answer as to how this happened other than by God’s own hand!

Israel will see God giving them this victory and this will cause such a stir in their hearts that they will tear down the dome of the rock and set out to rebuild their Temple. This is not the response God was looking for. In fact, this is the last straw for the Lord. So much so that he now allows the Antichrist to be made known as the Great Tribulation is ushered upon us.

This war will have laid waste to every minor nation in the area that has called for the destruction of Israel. And possibly because of an earlier surgical military strike against Iran, Israel will be temporarily at peace. This now transitions into the period described in Ezekiel 38 where Israel is at peace and is soon attacked by Iran, Russia, Libya and Turkey. Israel will be overflowing with wealth from the spoils of war. They will be in possession of vast oil fields from the Northwest portions of Saudi Arabia. They will have treasures from Egypt and vast fortunes from Syria and Jordan’s Kingdom. This will pose as quite the temptation for Russia as Iran plots their revenge.

Ezekiel 38:11-14
And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places [that are now] inhabited, and upon the people [that are] gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know [it]?

Israel will be fat and at peace, proudly relishing the spoils of war as they celebrate their victory over such foes. Can you fathom the fury in the remaining Muslims when Israel, land of the Jews, has control of much of Saudi Arabia, home of Mecca, their most holy city?

Ezekiel 38: 15, 16
And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

    In Revelation there’s two occurences of hailstones and earthquake, the 7th Trumpet and the 7th Bowl
    There’s also earthquakes, hailstones and fire at other places like the 6th and 7th seal and 1st trumpet.
    Maybe one of them could align with this battle.

    Personally I think the temple will be rebuilt before that battle, but I never considered this scenario.

    The earthquake will flatten the Dome of the Rock and al-Aqsa mosque allowing the rebuilding of the Temple.
    However because the rapture will take place ‘in the same hour’, God’s chosen will never see it and it may never be built in any case.

There is a possibility that they could be drawn into the conflict, especially if they go the route that the Islamic world seems to be moving, i.e. towards a more militant and fundamentalist form of Islam. Meshech, Tubal, Togarmah and Gomer are all found in Modern day Turkey which is presently trending away from secularism and towards fundamentalism. Persia (present Iran), Lybia, Ethiopia (modern Somalia and vicinity) are also Muslim.
    For all Putin’s bluster, he is apparently having a difficult time subduing the Ukraine and is presently stalemated. Not exactly a conquering powerhouse.

      The phrase “the day of the LORD [Yahweh]” refers both to the ultimate time when Yahweh will punish and restore the whole world through Christ’s rapture of the church and to the periodic pen-ultimate days that clarify and anticipate it. Unrepentant sinners should fear the day of the Lord, but those forgiven and redeemed can anticipate it with hope. The phrase alludes to a judgment for eternal rewards in 2 Corinthians 1:14 where it says “we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus”.

      Troy Day hence this should tell u the gog and magog war ends at the qnd coming for it is ended by the day of the lord when christ brings the final judgent of Gods wrath upon the nations. Thus all the texts on the war eg Zech 12,14, Joel 3, Zeph 3,Hag 2, Isa 24, Micah 2,obad 1, Isa 63, all indicate the 2nd coming is the end of the war. And Rev 19 shows the nations that come against christ are not Russia and Iran but all the world. Its it tge armies of the kings of the earth made up of all people see Rev 19:18. This is the same war on Rev 20:7-10and it describes the magog as the army of sand of the sea which is the army of nations and also like that if the hair who came together against Joshua. This also shows the millenium is ended kn the 6th bowl and repeated in Rev 20. For the war of gog and Magog against Jerusalem according to Zech 12,14, Joel 3, Ezek 38,39 is ended by the 2nd coming of christ on which he brings fire from heaven to consume gog and the magog . Gog is the beast!!!

      Martin Asare no not really Not sure how familiar you are with the Islamix mahdi ideology After all Jersey is a melting pot and it has been for many years so the whole Black Israel lost tribe movement vs the mahdi proponents could go unnoticed But down here in the South it is a pretty big deal I mean who ever heard of islamic people doing harm to others (based on lifestyle, religious beliefs, nationality, or just hate and dislike).       Those people are strongly apocalyptic Meaning they will have more and more children just to make sure the Jihad goes on and is won for their heavenly eternity Can you imagine anyone in your church having children just to populate heaven? Exactly !

      BUT to your point YES Gog and Magog unite at the end of the Tribulation for Armageddon Jesus returns with his pre-Trib raptured saints and wins the battle Simple as that

      Troy Day i don’t believe in pretrib rapture. The rapture occurs at the 2nd coming after the tribulation. It is at the same coming of christ with the DOTL judgment that the rapture occurs. This is why we see the gathering of the 144000 from the 4 corners occur before the wrath of God is poured out in the 7th seal. The gathering takes place at the coming of christ in the 6th seal. Psalm 50 says he gathers his people who are in covenant with him by sacrifice on the day of the lord. Not before it. 1 thess4, 2 Thess 2, 1 Cor15:23,50-52 all says its at the coming of the lord that the gathering takes place.

      YES Martin Asare it is clear that you are a post-tribber who shall be left behind because you proof read Revelation to fit your own theology It is quite clear the 144,000 refer to ISRAEL and have little to do with the NT Church and the timing of the rapture. Same goes for your last day, judgment day and other proof read of Revelation None of the BIBLE authors, early interpreters of the Bible , church fathers or later reformers believed what you are saying Must be some new liberal and very erroneous teaching

      Troy Day my faith is not based on church fathers but on the testimony of the apostles , christ, and the OT. Jesus himself in Matt 24:29-31 gave a post trib description of the gathering of his elect from all the world with the great trumpet. This is the same trumpet of 1 Thess 4 and 1 Cor 15 at his coming . So regardless of what the early fathers say I dont care. The Bible is the Canon not them.they are errant men like us but not the Bible. And false doctrines in eschatology was present even in the time of the apostles. So that’s no conclusive evidence if some fathers were pretrib or premill.

      Martin Asare Matt 24:29-31 refers to Israel as Jesus clearly spoke about the fig tree 1 Thess 4 are not parallel events 1 Cor 15 as you present them whereas it is obvious Paul had a pre-Trib approach to eschatology HOWEVER none of these are part of this OP dealing with Ezekiel. I will be happy to discuss the Biblical reference you pointed out in separate OPs when there is more time and given the needed exegetical grounds are established before straying away and mixing OPs
