Outside of God creating the physical universe for His own glory, why did He create it. In other words what is the purpose of God. I believe the key to this understanding is referenced in Hebrews 2:10-13. That is to bring many son’s to glory.

Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. Rom 8:29-30 NKJV

Was that glory to expand the Royal Family of God?

To glorify Himself through the person of His Son by giving Him a bride, a love gift, we are simply the fathers gift to the Son

My question goes back before time, and the reason God created the universe. When there was a point in time wjhere the Father and Son existed alone with the angle. Although angles are not part of the Royal Family. As quoted in Heb 1:5

.Both the Father and Son, in a Family relationship, and continued with that relationship when the “Son of God would empty Himself to die” Phil. 2

I believe it was it to give Jesus brothers and sister to live in God’s House Hold? Rom 8:29

I can see no greater gift to give Jesus Christ in the expansion of the God family Those who have children would understand this. The gift is given to the Father and Son. Just saying

My answer would be yeah, for His glory. Angels glorify Him by doing what they are structed to and because they dont have their own will. So its not that glorifying at all. He made Lucifer but yet fail to give glory to Him instead opposed Him. So Man was made to give glory to God. With pure intentions and not because we are forced to. Thats why we have free will with us. Also, to receive love. God is love and as an expression of love, He made us. So that we return His love to him purely without force because we choose to love Him.
