Best book on the evidence for the resurrection?

After reading several books by some of the more popular atheists and then researching their personal lives I am finding some commonalities in their motivations for attacking God’s existence and goodness. Does anyone else agree, can articulate their impressions? Please only answer if you have read any works by atheists.

In the book of Matthew chapter 5 Jesus tells us to shine our lights and show our good deeds , then in chapter 6 He says to hide our good deeds when we are tempted. So how do we know when and when not to?
