The following syllogism sums up the problem of hell/the unsaved.

1. God desires that everyone should repent and be saved (2 Peter 3:9, 1 Jn. 2:2, 1 Tim 2:4, John 12:32, 1 Timothy 2:6, Titus 2:11 )

2. God has the ability to make anyone come to love Him through His irresistible and unfailing grace (John 6:44, John 15:16, James 1:18, Romans 8:31-38)

3. Therefore, given P1 and P2, everyone is saved and reconciled before God (Colossians 1:20, 1 Cor 15:12, 2 Cor 5:18-29, 1 Timothy 4:10, Romans 11:32)

But most Christians reject P3, so my question is do you reject P1, P2, both, none , etc.?

I reject P2 because I don’t hold to irresistible grace. I buy into prevenient grace.

The question is not the ability of God being able to force anyone to love Him. It’s the desire for everyone that comes to Him to do it by their own will.

Not even God can make someone love Him. It is the nature of love that it must be given freely.

Both P1 and P2 are true but it doesn’t mean that accepting both actually mean that every one is or will be saved . I Think
