I also love the way many critics treat it as a single book, instead of the greatest compendium of all time – internally consistent and historically accurate accross thousands of years and mules.

Isnt it restricted in those countries because they have a competing national religion? Like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan etc. So in other words it goes against the government mandated doctrine.

If u think or declare it as fables.. Mythology or ordinary writings.. Then allow it as of others…
But if you don’t then…. You better embraced its life truth and eternal purpose.. -

China is arresting people for going to church on zoom. Not to mention the crap they’re dont with the Uighur people. They’re Muslim but id just thought I would throw that out there because the Chinese government isnt just going after Christians. But anyway back to the topic church are being burnt down. Home churches are being broken up. Pastors and their congregations are arrested. And then ISIS. Anyone not Muslim is killed or expelled. Communist Russia? They go to the gulag or is killed or jailed. Ronald Uriel read the voice of the martyrs.

I assume the ban is referring to Islamic countries. Well the Hindu Vetas and the Buddhist Pali Canon probably are as well. Why do I say this? Acceptance or denial is not an apologetic truth value I will use.

Because those countries know half of it is horrible and condones slavery, genocide, genital mutilation, etc…

Marco Antonio Moreno Gutierrez If I were the atheist, which I am not, I would argue that the difference is this, “Yes, both are fairy tails but the Christians try to convince the public that the Bible is real history, proselytizing. You do not see Classical Greek scholars and professors going around preaching that the Odyssey or Aesop’s Fables are actually real histories.” So, I would, as an atheist, argue that you are talking apples and oranges. Therefore, the argument would be that these 52 countries that you mention just don’t want to waste the time of its citizenry with proselytizing fables.
One way to see just how sound your point is, is to see if you can undermine it as the opposition.

Weird that the most incendiary claim of the Bible—that Jesus is God—is denied by Bible skeptics, yet if it’s not true then what’s the danger in circulating a book of “legend” or “fairy tales?”
