Why do so many Christians think that atheists claim the universe came from nothing?
(most atheists think Lawrence Krauss’s definition of nothing is stupid, btw)
(Edit: most atheists.)

Tell me more. I’m new to that school of thought ( for apologetic reasons❤️.)
-
I’m wondering what the basis actually is… I don’t understand how there can be evidence of anything other than intelligent design AT LEAST.
-
If you think his explanation is stupid…wait until you hear Richard Dawkins explain it lol
-
Because that’s what the vast majority of mainstream atheists agree on. Scientists at one point used to think that the universe was eternal, then this was changed due to scientific discoveries which elude to time, space and matter not able to be eternal. Do you believe that there was special eternal matter that created the Big Bang?

Hey if you guys want to watch a man painfully try to convince himself what “nothing” is and how it created everything. Have a look at this. Don’t forget to read the comments.

Because they believe that there is no God, so it would have to have done so

Most atheists don’t think the universe came from nothing. A lot of them think the idea is absurd.
As an atheist myself, I personally think there are numerous possibilities which do include as one of them, the universe from nothing. We have evidence that something can and does come from nothing.
This is just my opinion though and has no influence or indication as to what other atheists think.

Why is there nothing rather than something??♂️
-
Atheists think whatever comes out of anybody else’s mouth is stupid , apart of course what comes from their own mouths .
-
“Because there’s a law such gravity, the universe can and will create itself out of nothing”… Stephen Hawking (Late; theoretical physicist and atheist)…in his book; the grand design.
-
If (for an atheist) it didn’t come from nothing, where did it come from?
-
Because the non-existence of a Creator begs the question ‘how then does everything comes about’..
-
Coz generally no one is an atheist it’s just the problem of morality
-
Just be fair with Krauss, did he not make it clear that he just doesn’t believe that there was once “nothing”? And that the nothing he’s referring to is just the quantum fluctuation? I think he just used the title “A universe from nothing” for his book just to make it catchy. Well, I don’t really know, I’m not a fan of Krauss

I loved the YouTube video of Dawkins congratulating Kraus for working out something can come from nothing. Whole theater full of atheists could not control their laughter, “why are you laughing?” says Dawkins, “it not funny”…. It was really funny.

I hate people think morality is just treating others with love. No, morality is right and wrong. Example, rape is an absolute wrong not just because most people think it’s wrong. Otherwise, rape isn’t wrong but a popular dislike choice.
-
Where do atheists think the universe comes from?
-
Then atheists need to come up with a different word to describe themselves.
Atheist means no belief in God or the divine.
A = no Theist = God -
Where then where did
1.. Matter come from -
The concept that their has always been something is not provable. So the argue has long been why. Atheists themselve have long harped on this idea. Even if nit claimed as an issue it is still argued and cource of much of the debate. Why is there someting rather than nothing?
-
They believe in the big bang theory which is disproved by the HOLY BIBLE “Genesis 1:1-31.” There is a concept of the First Cause Theory that everything ( Mortal Thing) have a beginning or a cause.
-
By definition they have to. God is the uncaused 1st cause, so whatever atheists think existed to get things going have no answer for where “THAT” came from or how.
-
Willful ignorance. They become willfully ignorant for many reasons.
-
No other explanation makes sense?
-
And where is the sensible one
-
It intrigues me atheist shoot down all forms of answers and all they got is I don’t know. So we are to look at that as a reasonable answer to reality? So put them side by side and tell me which looks more plausible from nothing came everything or from someone came everything. You can only reason from effect back to cause they reason from effect back to nothing from that comes the word non sense
-
There are only 2 choices. The universe was created by an uncaused first cause outside of time and dimention and …wait there is no other choice….
-
What do you think about the atheist delusion on YouTube?
-
I don’t think that atheists “claim” that something came from nothing. I think logic dictates that the atheist is backed up into that corner.
If we follow the theory of macro-evolution far enough back, we find that there must have been a time where something came into being.
Is time, space, and matter eternal?
If yes, can you demonstrate this with science? The Eternal Trinity according to the atheistic scientific method. If yes, Christianity is debunked. If no, are you not accepting this on faith? Science is the god in whom you trust. You are not atheist.
If no, each of these must have had a beginning. If “something” has a beginning, then there must have been “nothing” for “something” to have originated from at “something’s” beginning. Otherwise, “something” is eternal.
-
Because they do, take us back to where they say it came from, the very beginning!
-
I think the concept of infinite regression ultimately forces the atheist to argue that the universe originated as a state of nothingness.
-
If the universe never had a beginning ,
it would never get to Now.
“The impossibility of traversing the infinite.”
-
Atheists really just like to claim that there is a creator..but the then proceed to make that creator in their own image..aka,,The universe,,karma..the bjorg? lol…Aliens…Theyll choose any kind of supernatural being as long as they don;t have to accept a Holy God who will one day hold them accountable. They basically practice humanism..the original sin of trying to be God by making him as you wish him to be.

I read the article, very interesting and profound to say the least. However, there isn’t anything that actually proves beyond a shadow of doubt that the quantum particles are actually going in and out of a truly defined and absolutely established put to rest “ nothing, or existence itself”. It’s certainly a next level manifestation of subatomic particles that can be observed. As a result, it doesn’t demonstrate something can come from nothing.

I apologize to the person whose belief is an atheist if I tell it straightly to the point. The answer is ” fools say there is no God!”
And their Science is the false “law of motion!”
