On the legislative front, America’s housing crisis saw a bipartisan bill clear the Senate, though it faces an uphill battle in the House. Meanwhile, the Jeffrey Epstein scandal continues to prompt universities to rethink their donor relationships, leading to resignations and tightened fundraising practices. Globally, the U.S. has expanded its bombing campaign to Iran’s critical islands, including Kharg Island, vital for its oil industry and national security.
