Another use for peanuts?

Recently I wrote about a great use for peanuts – putting them in a bottle of coca cola (See here). But here’s another potential use which I read about in the July 18th edition of The Morning Dispatch.

Turns out that 53-year-old Bob Salem became the fourth person to push a peanut to the top of Pikes Peak with his nose.

According to the article, “it took seven days–mostly at night to avoid distracting questions and requests for selfies from passerby–and the peanut in question was actually about a dozen peanuts, as he lost and ate a few along the way.”

The writers of this news (and I use the term very loosely) item sum it up well: “There’s a lot we could say about this, but our first question is: fourth!?”

The ONE THING for today: Don’t just do something, do something that matters! Or to put it another way, don’t worry about making news, make a difference.
