Your Daily Game Plan

“I want to caution you against the idea that balance has to be a routine that looks the same week in and week out.”

With close to 8 billion people on this planet, all of them with a free will, it is impossible to rigidly stick to a fixed and mechanistic Game Plan or routine—especially if you want to make a difference in this world.

Spontaneity and flexibility are required. But spontaneity cannot be scheduled and flexibility is impossible if you’ve already made up your mind.

You have two choices today.

You can doggedly, rigidly, predictably do it your way and expect people to align their world around yours (most will not) or you can focus on your very few essentials that must be done and be quick to adapt to the ever-changing needs, possibilities, and adventures awaiting you through the decisions and actions of the teeming humanity just outside your door.

The ONE THING for today: It all boils down to this question: Am I going to make my life about me or am I going to make my life about making a difference?
