How can we preach Jesus through every scripture in the Bible?
Is it necessary that in every sermon we should mention Jesus?

Any Gospel that is not Christ centered then it’s not true gospel. However, mentioning Jessus in every statement sounds more of a joke and definitely not attainable!
It sure is necessary to mention Jesus in every sermon. Why? Because He is the plan, and the focus, and the entire word also. Of course you can have a specific sermon on a topic not specifically Christ. But all sermons should point to Him as the goal. For He is.
Even if it were a prayer at the start and end of the sermon.
As long as your goal brother is to save souls with the truth, then you and God have one will according to His word. ?
Bless your work also brother. I should be walking in your shoes.
How do you bring Jesus into this scripture?
Deuteronomy 22:28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay her father fifty shekels[c] of silver. He must marry the young woman, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.
Jesus is not a mantra. Jesus is either God manifest in the flesh or all your theology is Unitatianism. Unitarianism doesn’t save only JESUS, JN. 14:6.
These scriptures could make for good second with Jesus too. How would he reflect on the direct words of his father?
female slaves don’t get to be freed
Exodus 21:7 “If a man sells his daughter as a servant, she is not to go free as male servants do.
tricking slaves to become slaves for life:
Exodus 21:4 If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the woman and her children shall belong to her master, and only the man shall go free.
5 “But if the servant declares, ‘I love my master and my wife and children and do not want to go free,’ 6 then his master must take him before the judges.[a] He shall take him to the door or the doorpost and pierce his ear with an awl. Then he will be his servant for life.
I posted this for answers, please do not turn this into a debate or show from where we cannot preach Jesus. Thank you
Your message should be Christ centered, according to the will of God and glorifies God
I believe that a sermons should be Christ centered and God redeeming! But we need to remember that all the books in the Bible are not written by the same people or written in the same time or even written in the same way. There is different kind of syle as you all know and seeing Christ in the peotical books maybe different with seeing Christ in historical books, I think we need to be very careful especially in the Old T. But I believe the whole bible talks about the redemptive plan in Chris alone and it’s application in the Old T. And in the New T. Then reading the Bible and not seeing how God is doing this means that in one way or another you failed the do it again untill you get it but don’t go on pulpit because one-day you will accountable for your lie
Salvation is all of our belief!
1 Cor. 15:14 – And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.
May not have to talk about Him throughout the whole sermon, but that close should always either be a reminder of what He did or an invitation to someone about what He did.
“I am the Alpha & Omega, beginning & end…” Can’t have the reward without the gifter. These short term memories we have in the ADHD society needs a reminder regularly of who we’re striving for…. as there is a tendency to forget in the middle of the process
Only reason there may be room to agree with a “no” answer is because of the book of Esther
Yes, scriptures are written for and about Jesus.
If the Holy Spirit is in you, to lead you
Well there is a teacher who was known for this…by the name of Arthur Pink from 1886 – 1952. Though I don’t agree completely with some of his conclusions, generally a good collection of commentaries. After all it says in Hebrews concerning Jesus, “In the volume of the book it is written of Me- To do Your will, O God.”
All Scriptural expository sermons should at least point to Jesus. It does not always need to be the centerpiece of the message. Sometimes we do special occasion messages such as Mother’s day, weddings, Etc. Or, we might explore certain topics such as forgiveness or love or service to others. Again, the Scripture used should point to Christ in an appropriate way.
Yes.
You people argue to damn much
Yes.
All scripture is Christocentric and can be preached as such.
Great point. It is easy to see Christ throughout the bible when you know Christ’s attributes. And yes he must be preached. Thank you for the reminder.
Jesus is the fundamental doctrine of true theology.
I believe that the Holy Spirit will give you the words to say as Jesus did: He shall glorify me; for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you-John 16:14. I hope this helped.❤️
