If 8 people got off the Ark, why wouldn’t all mankind would be Jewish? Where did the separation start in the bloodline? Please state with scripture so I can read and study.
Thank you saints.

All Judeans (from the line of Judah) are descendants of Noah. Not all descendants of Noah are from the line of Judah.

Israelites come from Abraham, not Noah

  6. Joe A Smith says:

Because Jacob became Israel so the sons of Israel ( Jacob ) those are your 12 tribes

  7. Luis Y Jennette says:

Nice. I could use that in a deductive argument to refute the flood story. A syllogism is possible.

    1) if the flood story were true, everybody would have Jewish heritage.

    2) not everybody has Jewish heritage

    C) therefore, the flood story is not true.

Of course, not every Christian believes in it literally

  8. Micki Shilvock says:

Noah and his family were gentiles. The first Israelites were the children of Jacob. Even Abraham and Isaac were gentiles, although they were also Hebrews.

  9. Anthony Pomeroy says:

It started with Abraham. Roughly the Jewish line began about 200 years after the flood when God called Abram out of ur

Because they weren’t Jewish the first Jew (Hebrew” was Abraham

The Jewish nation began with the offspring of Abram…who became Abraham…several generations later.

  12. Jared Hamilton says:

Abraham’s 3 sons were red black and yellow. There’s race. Language comes from Babel.

  13. Stephen Belk says:

    Abraham came after Noah, so…

  14. Carol Sue Roth says:

Noah had 3 sons and God separated them after they were off the ark and bore sons and daughters. God separated by Noah’s 3 sons and you can read it in Genesis. It was separated even more so at the Tower of Babel. Man always tries to bring everyone together for the good just like today! All the Globalism. It actually is not good. God separated Man for a reason. When men get their heads together it does not turn out for the betterment for mankind but only for the elite to try and crush the aspirations of those below them. It is happening today across the world. We have more freedom in America but as we let them slip away so the elite will rule over us.

  15. Herb Van Schoick says:

You raise a very good point, you could go all the way back to adam and eve. We all have the same parents we are all related. God singled out one man, abraham, to create a nation that would worship him alone but that doesn’t leave anyone out, he always has his ear open to others

    Tower of Babel

  17. Vanessa Jones Cruze says:

Abraham was first called a Chaldean, then it became Hebrew, then called Jews after the tribe of Judah. Religion split when Hagar and Ishmael went back to the land of Egypt, they no longer worshipped the way Abraham did. God called Abram out of the land of Ur, where his father was a maker of Idols. Before Abram you were either followers of Elohim (Yahweh) or Pagan. So one would think when Cain was cast away from Adam for killing Able, that Cain made his own belief no longer following what Adam had taught him.

  25. Rob Kuder says:

The Jews are the descendants of Abraham through Isaac and his son Jacob (later changed to Israel). Noah was before and he would have had descendants other than the descendants of Abraham.

  26. Mike M Correal says:

abraham was the 1st jew & he was way later than noahs family but we are all from 1 of noahs 3 sons (Shem, Ham , Japheth)

  29. Eric Ritterschmied says:

Being a Jew is not base on blood relation! Its but base on Gods unconditional covenant with Abraham…The covenant at mount sanai is the fulfilment God promised to Abraham that his descendant will possessed modern day Israel…

  30. Nick N Beth says:

We are all definitely related to Noah and then also to Adam.
The Jewish people descended from the line of Shem.
Abraham being the father of them all.
The main dispersal of people groups is recorded in scripture at the tower of Babel.
We are all related to the Jewish line…the same as we are all related to the Spanish,French or Japanese.

  31. Keith Schuster says:

First, before the flood there were already different races as we see that Cain fathered a distinct people whom TubalCain was a leader. There were probably others that may or not have been mentioned in scripture. In Genesis 6 we are told that mankind intermarried the races even to the point that they had relations with the angels to make the Nephlim. We see that this intermarrying caused mankind’s flesh to be corrupted just as deuteronomy 22 states that thou shall not sow your vineyard with diverse seed lest it be corrupted. Jeremiah 49 speaks of Esau and his foreign wives and that Esau’s seed was corrupted. What we see is that Noah was pure in his generations. This refers to heritage, bloodline and ancestry. This is why Noah found favor. God spared Noah’s sons for Noah’s sake and because his sons were the next purest in bloodline, but we do not see that his sons married of the same race.
So after the flood scrioture tells us that Noah and his sons all settled different regions and they all became their own distinct tribes, nations and tongues. This may be because the sons wives were of the other races and so they all introduced their distinct genetic offspring. At Tower of Babel they once again mixed in marriage and took wives of all they chose. They became one mixed multitude of people with one common language. God said it was not good and so He corrected this again by sorting out the genetics of the races and grouped them accordingly into distinct and separate tribes, tongues and nations. There are also examples where God created the races by His power and will, like when Abraham took an Ethiopian, Hagar, as wife and she had a mixed baby, Ishmael. God made Ishmael the father of a new nation of people. The Arab people. Half Hebrew (white) half Ethiopian (black). Also, when Isaac had his twin sons, Jacob and Esau, we see that God says “in your womb are two nations”. God divided the offspring as He knit them in the womb. Esau is stated to be red and hairy(possibly Hindu/indian).

    Abraham was the first ‘Jew’.

  38. Keith Schuster says:

Wasn’t it Jacob who was the first Jew? His name was changed to Israel.

But the Hebrews came from the line of Abraham. He was the first one to establish the sacrificial tenets by taking his sacrifice to Melchizedek and giving him a tenth of his flocks as tithe.
