What pre-trib people don’t seem to know or accept is that the pre-trib view concerning the rapture didn’t start until about the 1850s, prior to that it wasn’t taught. The historical Church teaching, starting with earliest Christians, was that we were going to have to endure the persecution, tribulation, of the Antichrist.
