Rev Dollas Messer & Rev Charles Page, President & Vice-President of the Pioneers For Christ, commonly known as the PFC, which was a very large evangelistic organization at Lee College (Lee University) that gave students the opportunity to travel on a van to different parts of the country and conduct revivals services in local Churches of God and also knocking on doors in the community, leading people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, as well as conducting street services in various communities.

My wife and I met through PFC and involvement in this organization was critical to my faith and spiritual growth at Lee.

Souls, winning souls to Christ was the most important factor. Much prayer and preparation went into making our revivals successful. We also impacted many young people in local churches during these wonderful times.

Sad to say, but I saw a picture and an article about the PFC in recent years They were having some type of a banquet where the picture showed them dancing on some dance floor. Such a disgrace to God. I guess dancing (something that no CoG person would ever do) has taken the place of prayer and preparation for active ministry. My heart was broken.

I am sorry this saddened you or others. I don’t think assuming dancing has taken the place of prayer & preparation or the zeal for salvation of the lost is a correct speculation.

I can remember these days! Took part in housing some of these young people in Memphis! They were a blessing to be around!

Great memories here! Took a trip up to Mishawakee, Indiana. One of the girls on the right looks like Carolyn Duggan? Maybe?
