According to Wright, “When we see Jesus announcing the kingdom of God saying the time is fulfilled, this is the time for God to become King, we also see Jesus doing all kinds of things like healing people and celebrating with all the ‘wrong’ kinds of folk, and then explaining that this is what it looks like when God becomes King. Coulter to Present Azusa Lecture on Seymour; Alexander to Receive Azusa Award

Dr. Dale M. Coulter will present the Sixteenth Annual Azusa Lecture on Tuesday, November 9, at 7:00 p.m., in the North Cleveland Church of God’s Dixon Chapel. Coulter will speak on “The Azusa Street Revival and William Seymour’s Pentecostal Vision.” Following Coulter’s presentation, the Dixon Pentecostal Research Center will honor the Dr. Estrelda Y. Alexander with the Spirit of Azusa Award and a reception for her life-long leadership among minority Pentecostal communities.

America’s Prayer Meeting Revival is scheduled for June 1 – 5.

“It’s simple,” says P. Douglas Small, President of Project Pray and coordinator for Church of God Prayer Ministries. “Just open the doors of the church and let the people pray. Encourage them to drop by on their way to work. To fast lunch and come to the church. To stop by on their way home and linger in the presence of the Lord. No preaching. No teaching. Air Force Academy Cadets Dismissed for Religious Beliefs

Up to 16 cadets at the Air Force Academy have just been notified they will not graduate, dismissed because of their Christian religious beliefs against abortion for refusing vaccines tested on aborted fetal stem cell lines, including seniors who will incur up to $400,000 in debt. Another 16 cadets at West Point face a religious purge.
