San Antonio, TX–A special called session of the Church of God General Assembly is scheduled for Tuesday morning, July 26 at 10:30 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center (HBGCC).
The Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee) is meeting this week for the 78th International General Assembly, which was postponed from 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. While there are several pre-Assembly events today, the official opening is Tuesday morning, with a declaration by General Overseer Tim Hill.
The Smoky Mountain Children’s Home (SMCH) Sponored An Awards Brunch
San Antonio, TX–The Smoky Mountain Children’s Home (SMCH) sponsored an awards brunch on Monday, July 25. Executive Director Dr. Walt Mauldin and Co-Executive Director Tammie Mauldin hosted the event.
SMCH is the Church of God’s first children’s home, established more than a century ago in 1920. A focus of the brunch was celebrating the Centennial of the institution.

July 5, 2022–The opening night of the Church of God 78th International General Assembly is three weeks from today, as the Church of God’s premier gathering is set to take place July 26-29, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas, after a two year postponement due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

One year from this week the business sessions and worship services will be taking place at the Henry Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. Starting with preliminary sessions and registration on Monday, July 24, 2022, the Assembly will conclude that Friday, July 29 with an address from the General Overseer.
