Church of God General Overseer J.H. Walker Sr. was born in Rayville LA on March 6, 1900. Seen here preaching in Jamaica, he was the youngest person ever elected as general overseer. Elected prior to term limitations, he served for 9 consecutive years (1935-1944).

R.R. Walker, here with his wife Leedie, joined the Church of God in Morgantown MS on May 13, 1933.
