When Paul says Jesus was raised on the third day “according to the Scriptures” (in 1 Cor 15:4), what prophecy is he referring to?

I took it as Just what it says…Jesus was arisen to show the ol mighty god strength as his son was a sacrifice. Proof that God is stronger than anything. Proof that Jesus loves us more than loving ourselves.

there is a generally agreed-upon theology of resurrection in the Old Testament (cf. Job 19:25–27; Ps 49:15; 73:23–28; Isa 25:8; 26:19; Ezek 37:1–14; Hos 13:14; Dan 12:1–4 etc.), connections between Psalm 16:10 and Psalm 22, and Isaiah 53:10–11 and Daniel 12:2–3 reveal that the Messiah, in particular, would be raised from the dead.

What i know, my answer, is that God cant die. And that He prophesied that He will rise up again from the dead. I mean, all can sacrificed themselves for someone but only one didnt stay dead ever.

Thinking back according to the scriptures may point the book of the gospels circulating at that Time before being canonized. Scripture just means written evidence.
