This is speaking of the Roman empire ruled by the Caesars and started in 63 BC. From are secular references we know St Ignatius died in Rome, and he was the bishop of the first Christian church.

When Rome was established, there was a lot of persecutions taking place against the disciples, such as the prophet Agabus, Rome killed them all off.

Okay these seems like a pretty obscure relationship that is very speculative and only relating geographically. One could infer many things from this. Is this the best evidence for the claim that the Catholic church is a harlot? a geographical reference?

The prophecy concerning this great false religion called Christianity, which was established by Ignatius in 118 CE, and eventually brought the establishment of the Roman Catholic Church. Starting around the fifteenth century it started giving birth to what would be thousands of different protestant doctrines and denominations. We have seen gentiles who learned the Hebrew culture separate from it and create a new theology and doctrine which they called Christianity. They were the Christians, the followers of Jesus Christ. When we look at the abominations the church has committed, were not just talking about annulling the Sabbath days, establishing Easter, defining a trinity, changing the name of the Anointed, and annulling the old testament. We have seen throughout their history that they established their own laws and precepts and were involved in many perversions and lies as it served their purpose.

No, the Jewish leaders and those who followed in the first century are the harlot mentioned in Revelation. They ran after a false religion when they rejected their Messiah. Example of Jewish harlotry in OT

The “catholic church”? No. “Catholic” is indeed a good, biblical descriptor of the body of Christ.
But I figure you mean the Roman Catholic Church. In that case, it might well be the Harlot of Babylon, because she has spilled much blood of the saints. Having said that, I don’t think we can be certain of the identify of the Harlot of Babylon until the end of the age.
