They want to heed the call of grace but not the call of obedience. They want the life without the death. But they’re fooling themselves because you can’t have one without the other. This is no Savior without Lord. There is no salvation without sanctification. There is no love without obedience. People must examine and evaluate whether the Jesus they believe in is the Jesus of the Bible or just their Jesus idol.”
