A SPECIAL MESSAGE
FROM THE DESK OF THE GENERAL OVERSEER
Dr. Tim Hill, General Overseer of the Church of God, has released the latest edition in the “Let’s Talk About It” series.  It is a heart-to-heart assessment of the importance of the upcoming General Assembly in Orlando, Florida. Starting out with a story of the first assembly he remembers. He then discusses how every minister and member has a reason to attend this year’s event on July 30 – August 3.

Commemoration of the Church of God Declaration of Faith will take place across the Church of God this Sunday, January 7, 2018. This is an annual event designed to keep in the forefront the tenets of one of the Church of God’s most revered doctrinal statements, adopted 70 years ago at the 1948 General Assembly.

Attached with this email are resources and links to help the local church promote and celebrate Declaration of Faith Sunday. Please feel free to use them as we all recognize this critically important document of our Movement.

Dixon Pentecostal Research Center Celebrating 50 Years of Preserving Pentecostal Voices

Cleveland, TN–The Dixon Pentecostal Research Center is celebrating 50 years of ministry to the Church of God and Pentecostal/Charismatic Movements on March 2, 2021. Founded under the leadership of Charles W. Conn on the campus of Lee University, the center is one of the world’s largest repositories of Pentecostal publications, documents, and artifacts. Along with its extraordinary growth, the center has expanded its mission to preserve Pentecostal voices as it seeks to fulfill the biblical mandate of Psalm 78:4: “We will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord. We will tell of his power and the mighty miracles he did” (NLT).
