Under the guise of helping California teens with self-esteem and emotions, the new program, known as “Soluna,” features blatantly pagan and occult themes. In a disturbing incident that has fueled concerns about rising antisemitism, two Australian nurses were suspended after a video went viral showing them making threats against Israeli patients. The nurses, employed at Bankstown Hospital in New South Wales, were captured in a video where they expressed intent to harm Israeli individuals, with one nurse claiming to have already sent Israeli patients “to hell.”

Massachusetts City Becomes ‘Sanctuary’ for the ‘Transgender and Gender-Diverse’ After WILD Council Meeting. Worcester City Council voted to make the central Massachusetts city a “sanctuary” for “transgender and gender diverse” individuals. A two-hour public comment portion was chaotic and wild before Tuesday’s vote. A video of the speakers has gone viral on social media.

Warfare On Lawfare. “…those who are beneficiaries of waste, fraud, and unnecessary government spending will be the most threatened by the cuts that DOGE is making in these programs.” – Bill Ackman. The law is slow-moving, arcane, and incomprehensible to most non-lawyer citizens; that’s why the Party of Chaos has misused it so liberally. In any event, DOGE is moving ahead…and the next battleground looks like the US Dept of Education, an agency which, since its creation in 1979, has only presided over an epic degeneration in the academic performance of young people. What it’s mainly accomplished is to enrich teachers’ unions and raise college tuition costs astronomically while degenerating the purpose and value of higher ed.

It was a bizarre scene yesterday in the state House of Representatives’ Education Policy Committee. The Commissioner of the state Dept. of Education (MDE), Willie Jett, time and again deferred questions to his Dept.’s attorney. Gov. Tim Walz appointed Jett as Education Commissioner in Dec. 2022, three months after the first indictments were handed down in the case. MDE hid behind the excuse of “human resources (HR)/personnel privacy” concerns (1:31:50 mark). $250 million of taxpayer money went missing, 40 people have been convicted of fraud, and the state agency responsible won’t answer a single question about what happened.

USAID Sent Over $18 Billion to Islamic Terror States. Somalia, along with other Islamic terrorist entities, including the Taliban in Afghanistan, the Houthis in Yemen, and Hamas in Gaza, were among the top beneficiaries of USAID cash. USAID boasted of having sent $2.1 billion to Gaza and the West Bank since the Hamas attacks of Oct 7, 2023. In 2024 alone, $917 million was programmed for the terrorist areas occupying Israel.

President Trump Signs New Executive Order Regarding Covid Mandates, preventing federal funding for schools implementing Covid vaccine mandates…The executive order also will give the Department of Health and Human Services Secretary led by Robert Kennedy “a plan to end coercive COVID-19 vaccine mandates.”

Weather Events

Brazil: 7 dead as extreme rainfall causes flooding and landslides in Pernambuco. Heavy rainfall exceeded 300 mm (11.8 inches) in northeastern Brazil on February 6, leading to the deaths.

Australia: Severe storms batter NSW and Victoria, triggering flash floods and emergency rescues on Feb. 10. Emergency services responded to over 500 calls for assistance. Also, on Feb. 14, Category 4 Tropical Cyclone Zelia, with 180-mph gusts, struck Western Australia.

Italy: Severe Storm Hits Isola d’Elba, Dozens Rescued Amid Flooding in Portoferraio. Firefighters were called into action as rising waters trapped residents in their homes. Three rescue missions were carried out to evacuate those in danger, while 28 people were saved from stalled vehicles along the main road.

Other Disasters

At Least 41 Dead in Southern Mexico Bus Crash. The accident occurred early on Feb. 8. The bus, which was carrying 48 people, crashed into a truck. The truck driver was also killed.

Wars and Rumors of Wars

Trump Wants Peace, But Egypt Prepares for War. Over the last few weeks, Egypt has poured more and more troops, tanks, and armaments into the Sinai, close to the border with Israel. This is in direct conflict with the 1978 Peace Treaty with Israel, which required the Sinai to remain demilitarized.

Pentagon threatens to cut aid if Egypt refuses to take in Gazans, as Arab states race to find alternative to Trump plan. The Trump administration is upping the pressure on Cairo to accept the U.S. president’s plan to resettle large parts of Gaza’s population on Egyptian territory. On Thursday, the Qatari outlet Al-Araby Al-Jadeed reported that the Pentagon reached out to warn Egyptian officials that part of the over $1.4 billion in annual military aid might be cut if Cairo won’t accept President Trump’s plan.

Hostage Deal: Israel responds to Hamas ultimatum. Hamas announced it’s suspending release of hostages until further notice due to so-called “Israeli violations.” Update: After President Trump then called for all hostages to be released by Saturday…or else, Hamas decided to abide by the original plan and released three more hostages.

Hamas official threatens: ‘October 7th was just a prelude.’ Khaled al-Qa’id, one of the few remaining Hamas leaders, claimed a military victory in Gaza and warned, “The October 7 attack was merely a prelude to the complete liberation of the entire Land of Israel from Jewish control.”
