Why do we argue here if the holy spirit which is our teacher is from the One God JEHOVAH which we all profess faith to. Intellect is not Holy spirit, Dear brethren let’s pray to receive the holy spirit

True believers receive the Holy Spirit at the moment they are born again. Nothing more to pray for except understanding.

No Duane L Burgess – The Holy Spirit, God the Father, Our Lord Jesus Christ participates in your process of being Born again. Being baptize in the Holy Spirit or to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit is a different process that is performed by Jesus alone, He does it at His own time. It can be at the moment of you being born again or much later.

Totally agree. If we are all serving the one and same GOD, blessed with the same holy spirit, then, on the whole, ought we not be of one mind and purpose. Disagreements may he held, but some have been vitriolic at best.

Can you clarify what you mean by “intellect is not Holy Spirit”? Are you trying to suggest that intellect isn’t of God?

just because one is a believer and saved doesn’t mean he/she yields himself/herself to the teaching of the Holy Spirit. Reading Paul’s description of believers in 2 Timothy 4:3, 4 show many are guilty of itching ears and don’t stand on the word of God but listen to satan’s deception more often than not. Many can’t seem to believe Jehovah says what He means and means what He says. They have to add their own spin

Because 90% of so called “Christians” can’t even say what the gospel is or where to find it in scripture. They are false converts clinging to errant churches rather than God’s word.
The gospel is 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
…That if you believe Christ died for your sins, was buried rose again fulfilling the scriptures, you will be saved…
We must rightly divide scripture.

There is an argument when people do not understand scripture properly. Like this post is asking bealivers to pray for the holy spirit but we already received the holy spirit. Ephesians 1:13,: And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago.”

to believe means to put your whole faith and trust in it everybody that says they believe really do not believe that is why you must pray to receive the gift of the holy spirit you need to punder on act 2-38

The Holy-Spirit is not anti-intellectual, as your question clearly implies. You’ll be stunted in your Spiritual growth hanging onto this – while popular -esp. in neo-pentecostalist/ charismaniacal error.

Why “test the spirits”…be “ready to give an answer”.. Why does God “raise gifted men” to combat error .. why the commands to expose false teaching ect ect ???
Anti intellectualism is a false doctrine in itself and is clearly against many Scriptures .. any unity base not on truth is not unity at all .. and really no love at all for its truth that defines love -
We have to pray for guidance to stay aligned with the Spirit’s will. It’s easy to start thinking we are doing the right thing BECAUSE we are Christian, instead of SEEKING the right thing because we are Christian. There’s a lot to learn about the Holy Spirit.

Some have ready made answer to anything you wanna ask and nothing anyone says is correct or suffice for that proof. Some even ho extra mile to nurse anger and other inward principle within them cos the other person isn’t agreeing with them. Its all wrong.
When someone tender his or her claim, calm, let the spirit guide as you type to reply. The converse is the other way round, and it speak negative about us if we have the fruit of the spirit at all

Lord, guide us in patience and humility. Help us to be direct but respectful. Help us not to be offened but to learn and grown as iron sharpens iron.
