Depends. If gentile then no need. If you are a Messianic Jew then yes. You have to remember Paul on his missionary journey still practiced his Jewish heritage by observing special holiday in their respective culture. For instance, during his 3rd missionary journey, “For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he might not have to spend time in Asia, for he was hastening to be at Jerusalem, if possible, on the day of Pentecost”(Acts 20:16 ESV). Paul was very adamant about keeping tradition, but did not impose it on the Gentiles themselves.

NO .. To bring anything from the types and shadows pointing to Christ .. Is an afront to God .. All those things were fufilled in His finished worl on the cross .. To go back to them is serious

We are free from the all law. We are not bounded but we are subjects of much higher law which is God’s law.
Im no expert but i think this ‘shavuot’ is just a cultural thing.
But it wouldnt hurt anyone if you (want to) practice it. as long as you dont violate God’s law in doing this, i guess you are fine. -
If you think it will enrich your knowledge and relationship with Jesus, then by all means, go ahead. If you are trying to gain bonus points with God and add to salvation, then it becomes legalism.

Is is not required but since we do own or salvation to a Jew I don’t see why not. Our faith is Judeo Christian!

It is a shame that as the church moved from its Jewish root it did not keep the traditions of these holiday. They are rich in meaning and they all point to Christ. Also they can be used a evangelism tool to bring more Jews to Christ. Shavuot is the wheat harvest. Also called the feast of first fruits. It marks the giving of the Law to the Jews. To us the pouring of the Holy Spirit and the start of the church.
