Christanity is a religion of faith. If you are looking for more sources, maybe you need to pray for more faith. Or you may not have any at all.

Writings of Tacitus (wrote annals and history of Rome. I think about 80% of what we know about Roman history comes from him. Also wrote about Jesus), Suetonius (most of what we know about Julius Caesar comes from him. He also wrote about Jesus). Mara bar Serapion. A Syrian philosopher in the 1st century. Also a Roman who wrote about the crucification of Jesus.
Read Dr Gary Habermas. He is a leading expert. In his books I think he identifies around 40 sources (6 of which are Biblical and yes each book is an ancient historical manuscript that tells us history as well as philosophy and religion). Out of the non-biblical writings I think Dr Habermas has identified over 149 individual events. Of course in there writings they also confirm each other as well as the historical accounts of Jesus.
Those that would discount the historical sources of Jesus would also have to discount almost the entirety of Roman history and they are the same authors.
Most people don’t realize we have more individual sources of a 1st century carpenter from a small irrelevant back woods town of Galilee, than we do the king of the know world from the same time period, as well as more sources than the first leader of America (Washington). To discount Jesus (who is more historical sources) you would have to discount almost all historical figures. Kind of impressive for *just* a backwoods carpenter. Oh there are only ten individual sources for the existence of Julius Caesar. One of which is Luke (from the Bible). Seems to me Caesar needs all the help we can give him to prove his existence, we might not want to discount the Bible.
I hope the way I write doesn’t come of sarcastic or demeaning because that is not my intent.

This used to really bother me because when I looked I found almost nothing. Then I thought about it more. Jesus didn’t come to be a great political leader. He wasn’t here to be famous. He lived in a little backwater province in a tiny little country. His life is important ti us. It’s a big deal. But back then it wasn’t. Why would the huge empire of Rome take any notice of the execution of a small time prophet?

Archeological look now there are in Israel and RECORDS of time of pilates but HOPEFULLY you already have FAITH to know HE IS RISEN otherwise nothing would convince you even an apparition

If you can find the book authored by Flavius Josephus it’s a good book about the History of Israel, the Cricifixion and resurrection of Christ
-
Well there’s a catch 22 in the question. Basically, belief in the resurrection kinda makes you a Christian so you won’t really find secular sources for the resurrection. You find secular sources (historians from that time) who don’t believe in the resurrection but record the missing body of Jesus and the claims of resurrection by Christians.

Other evidences Josephus other Roman historians archeology. The writings of 2nd and Third century. There is a mountain of extra biblical proofs. Still not enough to convince hardened skeptics. Saying 3000 years of biblical prophecy is insufficient is like saying the sculpture of Julius caesar( only one in existence) is insufficient to prove he lived. No if the blood bathed book of books is not enough, nothing else could ever be.

Tacitus
Nero fastened the guilt … on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of … Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judaea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome.PLINY:
They were in the habit of meeting on a certain fixed day before it was light, when they sang in alternate verses a hymn to Christ, as to a god, and bound themselves by a solemn oath, not to any wicked deeds, but never to commit any fraud, theft or adultery, never to falsify their word, nor deny a trust when they should be called upon to deliver it up; after which it was their custom to separate, and then reassemble to partake of food – but food of an ordinary and innocent kind.[10]JOSEPHUS:
About this time there lived Jesus, a wise man, if indeed one ought to call him a man. For he … wrought surprising feats…. He was the Christ. When Pilate …condemned him to be crucified, those who had . . . come to love him did not give up their affection for him. On the third day he appeared … restored to life…. And the tribe of Christians … has … not disappeared.[17]Babylonian Talmud:
On the eve of the Passover Yeshu was hanged. For forty days before the execution took place, a herald … cried, “He is going forth to be stoned because he has practiced sorcery and enticed Israel to apostasy.”[21]Lucian the Greek
The Christians … worship a man to this day – the distinguished personage who introduced their novel rites, and was crucified on that account…. [It] was impressed on them by their original lawgiver that they are all brothers, from the moment that they are converted, and deny the gods of Greece, and worship the crucified sage, and live after his laws.[27] -
Try Lee Strobel’s book, The Case for Christ. He goes over most of this. Also, why would people in the first century willingly die for a lie?
-
Josephus, Tacitus, and the Talmud all reference him..
-
I started with the world Jesus lived in.
Look at the Roman Government and who was alive at that time.
When you realize that the rulers were real and that the people who ordered the crucifixion lived, then its easy to realize Jesus also lived.
Do some reserach of your own.
It will bring you to the truth. -
Irrelevant. The Bible is God’s Word, it’s sufficient proof.
