Help! I love Gods word and the restorative process it brings and the knowledge of God brings a higher understanding of Jesus and the kingdom. The problem I have been faced with is arrogance. I have had multiple people say I can come across as arrogant but only things concerning scripture and these individuals and solid believers. I get excited over new things I learn and discover. How can I improve on this fault?

Debate for Christ glory only. Talk theology for that very reason too. Never present truth with other reason than the listener to be helped. Be aware that there is nothing right or worthy in you than others except Christ’s mercy. That We are not here to blame the world or tell people we know better but to share the God’s love for us all. That is how i converted any discussion in Wich I was right but not useful in discussions with purpose and which help others(and me)

30 something years ago when I first went to seminary school a brother in Christ sat me down when he realized I was out of control
and here’s what he said !
Your not the only one who loves Jesus Christ and reads the Bible . -

I have the same problem. I continue to pray regarding my tone and temperament. It takes practice to read people’s needs behind what they are saying, we have to pay close attention to what is being said and meet the need, question, or concern strategically and gently. Practice focusing and truly listening, then respond. Pray for The Holy Spirit to speak restorative Truth through you an give you the right words. Speak from the fruit of the Spirit if your words and heart are not in line with the Spirit then you are not meeting the needs of the individual righteously. In Jesus’s name we pray.

Maybe your zeal is misinterpreted as arrogance. Pray and ask God to give you wisdom to discern the matter
