Gal 2:20 and Rom 5:10 do not support your assertion that Jesus is either eternal, or immortal. Since Christ had an “origin” (Micah 5:2 NRSV), and “was dead” (Revelation 1:18), Christ has been neither eternal, nor immortal.

He previously existed but not as a man,there are many theophanies in the Old Testament, and the preincarate christ was “in the beginning ” as per John 1. He left his place in heaven to become both wholly man and wholly God for to pay the cost of OUR sins!! ( thank you Jesus! )

Carlos is screaming at Trinitarians because that’s what he does.
If you show him verses in the Bible that disprove what he’s saying, such as JOHN ONE FREAKING ONE, he’ll tell you it’s corrupted or mistranslated.
He only sees Christianity through the lense of his presuppositions, and wants to yell at anyone who doesn’t.

I am a Oneness person, but when I say that I realize my views are a minority, not orthodox, and borderline heretical from an orthodox perspective. I have to be able to defend my position with respect for the majority opinion, which is Apologetics. Apologetics is a systematic argument and discourse… you’re just throwing out an opinion and telling at anyone who disagrees. Frankly, as someone who agrees with you on the Oneness of God, I fundamentally disagree with your presentation and question where your heart is

Jesus claims to be God, Hebrews said Jesus is higher than the Angels.
Humans are not higher than the Angels.

You really need to explain why John explains that He is this God. How, if Jesus is not God, He said that He knew Abraham. You also need to explain how believing (correctly) that Jesus is God is not living faithfully. Your claim does not have that logical end, and you need to defend it.

The prophet Isaiah says he’s eternal, so, yeah, he’s eternal. That’s seven hundred years before Christ. Oh yeah, and Jesus claimed to be God. Also, Jesus, and only Jesus, allowed himself to be worshipped as God and called God, when both the angels, the apostles, and the disciples rejected worship. Hmmm. Hmmm. This is heresy. Genesis 1, gospel of John 1, 1st epistle of John 1 and Colossians specifically focus on the Divinity and preexistence of Christ since Creation in Genesis. Several other verses corroborate Jesus’s Divinity and preexistence. In Colossians Jewish convert Apostle Paul uses the term PREEMINENCE to refer to Christ.

When it comes to God’s very nature, we can’t know everything. But one thing we do know for sure is that all three members of the Godhead were in the beginning together.
John 1:1-2 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.”
Here we have the Father and the Son.Genesis 1:1-2 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”
Here we have the Holy Spirit, and probably the Father in verse 1.I don’t think any of us can fully understand the Trinity on this side of heaven, and I don’t think we have to to be saved. Hi there. Interesting post. Those verses speak to His life on earth; not to His eternal and immortal existence. In the beginning God said, “Let US make man in OUR image” (Gen.1:26). Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have always been.
