I wish I could say I have completely surrender to God. I wish I knew how I’ve asked this question to God so many times. I believe we never do only Jesus was able to surrender.

Yes. I am nothing without HIM.

Your full surrender to Christ involves surrendering the fact that you can’t always surrender lol. We still have flesh and have to die to our old selves DAILY.

  10. Brenton Goin says:

It depends on the surrender you speak of.

Are you surrendering to God to try to do the will of God? Which God never promised.

Or are you surrendering to God in your sins, succumbing to the consequences of your sins knowing you are completely disqualified from any inheritance?

Only one of these has a promise from God.

Yes, you have to be totally surrendered to God when you come to him for salvation. You are sorry for your sins. That is surrender. 100% yes, God knows if you aren’t

No. we would all be just like jesus. You might be able to come close. We all are in a battle against our flesh in one way or another till the day we die especially if you live in the first world.

The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. The inner man is 100% but the flesh constantly pulls us back from 100% actual submission.
