Sir, do you consider yourself to be holy? Like Isaiah,…
Sir, do you consider yourself to be holy? Like Isaiah, “My righteousness is as filthy rags”….If I “tried” to be “holy”, then that is just my flesh. Any “holiness” comes automatically when we are in the Presence of God. Holiness is like humility that does not know it is humble. As much as I “try” to be holy, I cannot determine that I am holy. Only God can do that and I hope and pray that I make the mark. All I can do is to sanctify myself daily, put on the whole armor of God and let God do the rest of the work in my life. Many are “Holy-looking” but that does not make them holy. Many that are holy-looking wearing the suits and neckties are into filth in their mind and are consumed with porn, etc and lusting secretly over the “sisters” in the church until it is ridiculous…..So they need to pray through. While we can judge “fruit”, we cannot judge this thing called “holiness”. Only God can do that. So please, while I am here on my soapbox, stop judging the women in the church bc of the outward appearance unless you are going to judge the corruption in the minds of many of the men that supposedly are preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ but yet they “look” the part.
Think about it: The Word says in Matthew 22: 37-40..37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Here is where one can “judge”. Do they commit to those verses…37, 38, 39?
