The federal government has all but abandoned the people in Asheville North Carolina, one of the hardest-hit regions in the path of Hurricane Helene, and even at this hour there are people there who haven’t had a drink of clean water in 24 hours. Imagine if that was you or your loved ones. Today the convoys started to roll out of Grace Baptist Church in Kentucky, filled to overflowing with endless cases of spring water, boxes of diapers, baby clothes, and food of all kinds. Next week, hundreds of Bibles will join the supply line as well, and NTEB’ers are playing an important part in this whole process.

Pastor Joel Tillis from Suncoast Baptist Church in West Palmetto, Florida, has remarked on many occasions that Now The End Begins are the ‘special forces’ on the Lord’s battlefield, and that’s a true statement. We are a very large but very agile group of Christian soldiers who can respond, as needed, in a very fast and precise fashion. Whatever the need is, when the call goes out to the troops, the troops respond, and we are able to get a lot done for the Lord in a short amount of time. That’s exactly what NTEB’ers are doing right now, we are responding in real-time to the overwhelming need in Asheville for food, clothing, water and Bibles. NTEB is partnering with Bro. Andrew Tucker and Bro. Randy Keener who are assembling a team of other close by and local pastors to deliver the supplies to Bro. Andrew Sluder at Bible Baptist in Asheville. All of us together.

The first truckloads of supplies hit the road in the wee hours of the morning today, and have already arrived in Asheville. Trucks will continue to roll every few days to bring relief to the people in Asheville, and NTEB will help, as the Lord enables us, to pay for the food, clothing, water and diapers, as well as supplying them with as many King James Bibles as they need. We need to raise about $25,000 to do all this, and as of this morning, we are already 20% of the way towards that goal.
