There is a liberal faction working in the Church of God. It is a distinct group that is dedicated toward spreading liberal ideologies in the church. Trying to identify this faction is complicated by the attempts of mainline COG people to silence discussion about this subject. One such member of this coalition is Rick (Ricardo) Waldrop (Dr. Ricardo Waldrop, professor de missiologia no Seminário Pentecostal SemiSud, em Quito, Equador) He has 30 years experience in Church of God mission experience.

Can you name others in this coalition? What are their goals and expectation for the future of the COG? What ideas are their immediate and primary concern?

If I make a list of liberal ideas the thread will explode. I want to hear from others.
You can’t deny the existence of this coalition nor the destruction that results. COG has been built upon conservative values that have endured the first 100 years.

Brother Page, for the most part C O G churches of today are C O G in name only. they don’t know what the Church of God was founded upon, and don’t have a clue what the C O G was all about. only old folks like myself that witnessed Gods anointing on the ministers as they preached the word, most have never had a born again experience, if folks today saw the outpouring of the Holy Ghost they would do more than Sonny Bagwell did when he got in the snake handling church. they wouldn’t take time to ask where do you wont another door ? they would just jump out of the windows. and be like the cat that got his tail caught in the sawing machine, they would be moving on,
