There are enough negative posts on Actscelerate, so let’s change it up and post something positive. Share a testimony of something the Lord has done or is currently doing.

One day this week I received a message via Facebook from a lady I knew back when I was in the corporate world. I had not heard from her in several years, and had not seen her on social media for a long time. Back in the day, I always tried to make sure…
I haven’t been on much in the last few days, but I noticed that someone who had posted a lot in the last couple of weeks has deleted his account and left.
Last week I had seen one of his posts and had responded with a annoyed tone, and we had a back and forth. On Sunday afternoon, I was thinking about it and thinking about him in particular. I do not know him personally. I have no idea who he is. Something didn’t sit right with me about the posts and conversations. It wasn’t the content, though that was unsettling, but it was something else that was bothering me about it. And it wasn’ as much about what he said. I sensed someting in my spirit. The Lord has put a burden for him on my heart that afternoon for him. I think there may be some cognitive decline, or something else going on with the gentleman who left. There is more to the story than meets the eye.
Please join me in praying for him.

The CoG Bishop posted on Facebook (5/17) a picture of his wife praying over boxes containing the credentials of ministers who have had theirs revoked. Here is the text of that post: "This was taken by someone during the altar service at MIP commis…
WE have a small congregation, but this Easter we had a pretty good crowd, probably 80+, normally 40-50. We finally got one grandson, wife and two sons in church that day, I was shocked and pleased. I accompanied the boys to children’s church since they had never been, and they really enjoyed it. The leaders were great. Later in the week I heard something like the pastor doesn’t care for people who don’t attend church a lot.
Since I wasn’t in the worship service I asked around. Yes, the pastor mentioned CECO’s ( something like that, talking about people who attend twice a year, maybe it was Christmas Easter Christians Only. Is there a cute name for those folks now. I am not sure if Matt and family (especially the wife) will ever be back. Why would anyone not try their best to encourage those there for their once or twice a year to want to come back? For Matt & family it is a no times a year. WE were so glad to get them there for ONE time. Hopefully it will happen again.
I am beginning to see why the community churches in our area are growing.
