23 Then Lamech said to his wives:
“Adah and Zillah, hear my voice;
Wives of Lamech, listen to my speech!
For I have killed a man for wounding me,
Even a young man for hurting me.
24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold,
Then Lamech seventy-sevenfold.”

Parents create the future in two ways.
First, by bringing the next generation into the world.
Second, by showing the next generation how to live in the world.
For good or bad, our children learn how to live by observing us far more than by listening to us.
The ONE THING for today: Like Father/Like Son is more than an old familiar catchphrase; it is a foreshadowing of what the future will look like…only more extreme.
