Fierce, Strong, and Surprising :: By Daymond Duck
On two separate occasions in 2024, Iran launched hundreds of missiles, rockets, and drones directly at Israel.
Following the first attack in Apr. 2024, the Biden administration urged Israel not to respond in a significant way.
Following the second attack on Oct. 1, 2024, Israel said it would launch a retaliatory attack on Iran, but the Biden administration urged Israel not to attack Iran’s oil facilities or nuclear sites.
Many students of Bible prophecy started waiting for Israel to attack Iran, and I started thinking I should draft an article titled “Waiting.”
On Oct. 21, it was reported that an official said when it happens, it will be “fierce and strong and very surprising,” so I have gone from “Waiting” to “Fierce, Strong, and Surprising.”
I don’t know what Israel will do, but I know:
- That the Biden administration demanded to know Israel’s plans, Israel gave them the information, and it appears that someone in the Biden administration leaked them to Iran.
- That Israel’s Defense Min. said a retaliatory strike got a whole lot bigger after Iran’s proxy Hezbollah launched a drone strikeon the private residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Now, many are waiting, many are expecting it to be fierce, strong, and surprising, and it goes without saying, but many are wondering if it will lead to the Battle of Gog and Magog (Note: See point Six below).
(My opinion: It may do great damage to Iran, but Iran will not be defeated until the Battle of Gog and Magog.)

On Oct. 26, 2024, Israel struck Iran, and here are some of the reports that were released on that day:
>Israel asked several third-party sources to tell Iran what Israel would strike, what Israel would not strike, and that Iran had better not retaliate against Israel for striking them.
>Israeli officials said Israeli jets are striking sites all over Iran, including one site near one of Iran’s nuclear power plants and facilities that made vital components for Iran’s missiles and drones.
>After more than 100 Israeli fighter jets struck multiple sites in Iran, Israel said its retaliatory mission was over and that all its jets had returned home safely. It seems to me that Israel’s retaliation can rightly be described as fierce, strong, and surprising. Even though at least 4 Iranians died in the attacks, the Iranian military tried to minimize the damage.
>At the same time Israel was striking sites in Iran, Israel also struck several Iranian sites in Syria and Iraq.
>A U.S. official said the U.S. did not participate in Israel’s attacks on Iran, but if Iran retaliates, the U.S. is prepared to help defend Israel.
>The message has been sent that Israel will no longer tolerate Iranian-funded proxy (Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthi, etc.) attacks on Israel. Henceforth, Israel can and will attack the head of the snake (Iran).
On Oct. 27, 2024, Israel’s attacks on Iran weren’t as destructive as many Israelis wanted, but Israel’s attacks destroyed all of Iran’s air-defense systems, key radar systems, and cleared the way for greater, more destructive attacks in the future, if needed.
(My opinion: With Iran now vulnerable, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis may be having second thoughts about attacking Israel. Iran is sending mixed signals – we will attack Israel; we won’t attack Israel, etc. – but it appears to me that Iran needs to stop trying to destroy Israel or to get help elsewhere, perhaps from Russia, Turkey, and other Islamic entities. We know that will happen, and it will change the world when it does.)

Here are recent reports that seem to indicate that the end of the age is close.
One, concerning God blessing those that bless Israel and cursing those that curse Israel:
>On Oct. 22, 2024, Franklin Graham (pres. of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association) wrote, it is a great honor to stand with Israel. This nation was brutally attacked and has every right to defend itself from those who want to wipe it off the face of the earth. As a Christian, I believe the Jews are God’s chosen people, and so we want to do all that we can to stand with Israel in this hour of great need and provide for those who are constantly at risk.
>On Oct. 22, 2024, Sen. Jim Risch (R-Idaho), ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and 27 other Republican senators introduced legislation that would cut off U.S. funding to the United Nations and its subsidiary agencies if they downgrade Israel’s status in the UN. The U.S. is the largest contributor to the UN and its agencies ($18 billion in 2022), so cutting off the funding could lead to the downfall of the UN.
>On Oct. 22, 2024, in response to the Biden-Harris administration’s threat to cut military aid to Israel if it didn’t allow the Palestinians to receive more humanitarian aid, Israel reported that 237 trucks of military aid have entered northern Gaza in the last 9 days. Sadly, the Biden-Harris administration says nothing about Hamas stealing the aid, smuggling weapons in the trucks, forcing Palestinians to pay for the aid, etc.
>On Oct. 23, 2024, Israel assassinated a Hamas commander that participated in the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel and several attacks on Israeli troops in Gaza. Israel provided proof that he has worked for the UNRWA since July 2022.
>On Oct. 24, 2024, the UNRWA admitted that the assassinated Hamas commander was one of its employees. Following this admission, Israel demanded an urgent investigation of UNRWA’s involvement in the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel that killed about 1,200 people, took 252 hostages, and started the war.
(Question: How many Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists can the UN employ before it is declared to be a terrorist organization? How many Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists can the UN employ before the U.S. stops giving U.S. tax-payer dollars to the UN to help pay terrorist salaries?)

(Question: Why is the White House allowing illegal immigrants from these nations to cross our border and come into the U.S.?)

(My opinion: Radical globalists are running America, not Biden and Harris, but they are cooperating with the globalists that have taken over America and are trying to create a godless, borderless world government. And that will not end well. To Trump’s credit, during his speech at Madison Square Garden on Oct. 27, 2024, he said he is running against something far bigger than Joe or Kamala.)
Two, concerning an attack on Israel by Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorists: on Oct. 23, 2024, Israeli Prime Min. Netanyahu said,
- A hundred meters, two hundred meters from the border (Israel’s border with Lebanon), we found tunnels (with jeeps, motorbikes, rockets, and missiles) that were preparing an invasion of Israel, an attack even greater than on October 7.
Three, concerning the destruction of Damascus (in one night) at the end of the age: on Oct. 24, 2024, Israel struck a residential building in Damascus, and large explosions were heard in the city.
Four, concerning deceit at the end of the age: on Oct. 23, 2024, the House Energy and Commerce Committee released a report that says the Biden-Harris administration spent $900 million promoting Covid messages that were mostly false or misleading (about the effectiveness of vaccines, the danger to children, the value of masks and more).
According to the report, Americans cannot afford another botched government response to a future pandemic.

Five, concerning deceit and persecution at the end of the age: it has been reported that the Biden-Harris administration approved a directive that went into effect on Sept. 27, 2024:
- That former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said makes it legal for the U.S. military to shoot and kill Americans who engage in political protest because they disagree with policies in the White House.
- That podcaster Joe Rogan said gives the U.S. military the ability to shoot and kill American citizens for the first time in history.
- That media personality Larry Jones said allows the military to use lethal force against Americans.
A spokesperson for the Dept. of Defense (DoD) is denying these accusations.

Six, concerning the Battle of Gog and Magog: on Oct. 28, 2024, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei urged the world to stand up against Israel in a military coalition if necessary.
Khamenei’s exact words were: “The world should form a coalition, a political coalition, an economic coalition, and if necessary, a military coalition against the war crimes of the Zionist regime (Israel), an evil regime that is committing the most savage war crimes today.”
The Battle of Gog and Magog will be an attack on Israel by a military coalition in the latter years and latter days.
Seven, concerning freedom of religion in America and the future of America: on Oct. 28, 2024, former president Trump said he will reestablish the office of faith under the president in the White House if he is re-elected.
Trump said,
- We have to save religion in this country. I mean, honestly, religion is under threat in this country, a serious threat, and we can’t let that happen. It’s sort of the fabric of our country. It’s the thing that holds our country together. We can’t, we can’t lose it. We’re not going to lose it.
- The life and death and resurrection of Jesus Christ forever changed the world.
- It’s impossible to think of the life of our own country without the influence of His example and His teachings.
Eight, concerning support for Israel: on Oct. 29, 2024, 5 Republicans and 13 Democrats sent a letter to French Pres. Macron, asking him to reject plans for an arms embargo against Israel.
They reminded him that Hamas murdered 48 French citizens on Oct. 7, 2023, and are still holding 2 French hostages in Gaza.

Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024 (Day 383) The three hundred and twenty-eighth day of the resumed war. Day 161 of the attack on Rafah.
- Hezbollah fired more than 135 projectiles into Israel before noon today.
- Israel leveled 6 buildings in the suburbs of Beirut.
- Israel struck several sites in Tyre, Lebanon, and caused massive destruction.
Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024 (Day 384) The three hundred and twenty-ninth day of the resumed war. Day 162 of the attack on Rafah.
- An Israeli delegation will go to Qatar Sunday to restart hostage talks.
Friday, Oct. 25, 2024 (Day 385) The three hundred and thirtieth day of the resumed war. Day 163 of the attack on Rafah.
- Israel detonated a Hezbollah weapons stockpile, and the explosions were so great they triggered earthquake alerts in southern Lebanon.
- During the past 24 hours, 10 Israeli soldiers were killed, and at least 28 were wounded in heavy battles with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
- Israel assassinated a Hezbollah commander in Lebanon.
Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024 (Day 386) The three hundred and thirty-first day of the resumed war. Day 164 of the attack on Rafah.
- Hezbollah fired 125 rockets at Israel in 2 hours and more than 150 today.
Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024 (Day 387) The three hundred and thirty-second day of the resumed war. Day 165 of the attack on Rafah.
- Israel captured about 100 Hamas terrorists in a Gaza hospital. Many disguised themselves as medical staff to try to escape capture, but Israel searched them and checked them out.
- Morale in Hezbollah has plummeted, and the terrorist organization is facing large-scale desertions. When called to fight, many don’t report for duty.
Monday, Oct. 28, 2024 (Day 388) The three hundred and thirty-third day of the resumed war. Day 166 of the attack on Rafah.
- For security reasons, Israel will now hold all cabinet meetings in a secret location and limit attendance to just a few select people.
- Hezbollah is ready to negotiate a ceasefire without any prior conditions.
- Israel warned citizens in several Tyre, Lebanon, neighborhoods to evacuate before Israel attacks them.
- A Lebanese politician said on a talk show that Hezbollah has been defeated as a military force.
Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024 (Day 389) The three hundred and thirty-fourth day of the resumed war. Day 167 of the attack on Rafah.
- Iran increased its defense budget by 200%.
- Hezbollah appointed a new leader to take Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah’s place. Israel said he will not last very long.
Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024 (Day 390) The three hundred and thirty-fifth day of the resumed war. Day 168 of the attack on Rafah.
- Israel struck the Hezbollah military’s fuel depot in Lebanon.
FYI: God does not send anyone to Hell (all of us are born with a sin nature and destined to go to Hell because we sin), but God has provided a way (Jesus) for everyone to go to Heaven (and He is the only way to get there; John 14:6).
Finally, are you Rapture Ready?
If you want to be rapture ready and go to heaven, you must be born again (John 3:3). God loves you, and if you have not done so, sincerely admit that you are a sinner; believe that Jesus is the virgin-born, sinless Son of God who died for the sins of the world, was buried, and raised from the dead; ask Him to forgive your sins, cleanse you, come into your heart and be your Saviour; then tell someone that you have done this.
