It is rather silly, all the people who are arguing…
It is rather silly, all the people who are arguing about the doctrine of the trinity.
there is nothing wrong with naming a seen doctrine. the word need not appear. the name is defined by the doctrinal points.
It would not matter if it were called Doctrine A.
However we can see that the Father created, the Holy Spirit created and the word created.
we can see all three are called God
We can read that all three are credited for the raising of Jesus.
We can observe that John the Baptist viewed the Holy Spirit in the visual form of a dove while viewing the Word made flesh and hearing the Father.
So, even though the doctrine is not taught, directly as a cohesive singular unit of preaching,
Scripture never teaches that one must have some sort of grasp of the nature of God to be saved.
